Through more than 50 years of R&D, manufacturing and process experience, ICMA is a leading provider of compounding and extrusion systems for a variety of industries. Customers depend on ICMA for hiqh-quality, state-of-the art solutions backed by training, technical support and a high level of customer service.
ICMA Quality stems from a synthesis of these five points:
To help customers maximize their investment, we conduct training seminars on co-rotating technology. Our seminars extend beyond basic operations to processing knowledge that can make a difference in a competitive marketplace.
Our goal is to keep customers operating at peak efficiency. Our service team operates our HELP DESK 16 hours/day. We offer a deep inventory of the most important extruder parts for rapid, "off the shelf" delivery. We provide in-house support and manufacturing capability for screws elements, barrels sections and other important mechanical components to help guarantee quality control.
R&D / Lab Support
Our experienced laboratory personnel and versatile equipment help customers solve a variety of research and development challenges, including both pilot- and pre-production testing.
Since March 2000 ICMA is certified UNI EN ISO 9001 for design, production and servicing of extrusion and processing plants of plastics materials.
It is also a member of AMAPLAST, the Association of Italian manufacturers of plastic machinery and of the Association of European manufacturers of plastic machinery.
ICMA is also a sponsor of the "Pro Original Campaign" launched by EUROMAP in 2008. For sustainable parameters ICMA has achieved rating SILVER under the ECOVADIS evaluation system.
The range of co-rotating twin-screw extruders is very complete and covers all types of compounded and master batch products.
ICMA specializes in supplying turn-key solutions during many years as a result of its engineering capabilities.
The twin-screw co-rotating extruder is presently the highest performing machinery available in the market to meet the growing requirements of recycling processes, enabling the GREEN transition at the highest level.
We successfully pioneered, FIRST IN THE WORLD, the process technology for producing a thermoformable sheet for automotive interior trims made of virgin or recycled polypropylene and wood flour.
The Direct Extrusion allows to combine in one step the compounding and the extrusion phases, delivering significant great advantages including energy savings.
Lab scale units for Compounding or Extrusion systems at the highest standard represent key products ICMA can offer.
